Have you ever wondered why we appear as though we are in a race to end our own existence? This post is about the strange perversion of the philosophy of ethics that the Anglo West engages in, turning something spiritual and profound, into a doctrine of annihilation.

How is it that all the big player nations are siding with the most unscrupulous country in contemporary society in accelerating global dystopia? America is currently holding around 8000 sanctions, engaged in possibly up to 134 undeclared wars (to bypass Article 13 of the Geneva Convention to give basic rights of humane treatment to POWs), in addition to fighting really dirty when it comes to China. America and its cohorts are flying the flag of foul play and declaring that they must reserve the top spot whether they deserve it or not.
The notion of zero sum, which is the mantra of the current American Empire, is the most internecine. The Western lineage has not been exclusively sanguineous, because Asians too have exhibited extreme cruel forms of barbarism.
Every act of unfathomable savagery has been dreamt by both the East and West:

Even though both East and West have held equitable levels of inhumanity in the past, it really is a novelty that the Anglo Western Imperial reign now, is immune to peer judgement.
We all harbour our own idiosyncrasies which may not necessarily accord with everyone, but how can we excuse only ONE COUNTRY that is STILL carrying out assassinations on global leaders, stealing resources from poverty stricken countries while all others have already evolved to at least keeping their sticky paws to themselves?
Using Eastern spirituality to destroy moral guilt
America, and generally Western Imperial might, has always had a skewed notion of what “bad” means, this is because they can’t fathom their solipsistic view of reality is not shared globally. Bad means ANYONE WHO DARES DISAGREE WITH THEM.
I’m not arguing that the Imperial Western nations can’t acknowledge other countries existing concomitantly with themselves, it’s just that they think they (the West) ought to be the ones dispensing judgement on ALL issues pertaining to the continuation of our species. From our ethical compass to our daily “emotions” in interpreting the semantics of our life, the “truth” is only recognised as such, when it coincides with their definitions.
The worst is when the West catches onto the “latest” ancient Eastern philosophical musing. What was applicable and mentally sound when placed against the backdrop of a social mores and understanding from a different time period, become highly corrosive now. Because when these axioms are haphazardly understood, taken out of context, and wantonly parroted by Westerners, they bypass the rightful guilt that the West SHOULD feel for destroying the lives of others.
Suddenly, it’s all about “mindfulness” as America carpet bombs Yemen to dire straits and tell the maimed orphans that they some how “willed” this before their “current birth” – apparently this is an argument that Western Imperialists are now indoctrinating their moronic nouveau “spiritual” cadre to say to the unfortunate. This is supposed to sound deep and enlightened rather than spiteful and cold. A spurious utterance dispensed from the privileged sipping organic Ayahuasca that was hand picked for their hallucination by children who should be in school, rather than gainfully employed at the tender age of 4.
I used to regularly go to a monthly spiritual group, I wrote about it here. I sought explanations to questions which can never be satisfactorily answered – big questions which have veritable interpretations and understandings, but no solid answers. The topic of materialised evil is a question every faith needs to engage in, and when I asked my spiritual teacher (a Canadian guy who has been meditating for 25 years, not continuously of course because he needs to eat etc) he proffered the above karmic explanation. The earthly “victim” in this incarnation is working on his/her previous karmic debt, so losing both his parents (courtesy of Lockheed Martin), and scouring for used insulin because of American sanctions, is but the outcome of an agreed upon spiritual contract this orphan “signed” pre materialised birth – no reneging now baby, you’re already BORN!
If people buy these specious, pseudo spiritual claims, they will commit ALL KINDS OF EGREGIOUS acts believing that this is all ordained by a higher power – and if you think about it, it really is- Corporatism. Only under Neoliberal Corporatism can you bypass the ticker and evolution of the frontal cortex, and argue that murdering children is for the greater “good” of rebalancing karma.
Whether people realise it or not, the current Deepak Chopra-esque gurus so popular in the West, espousing the latest excuse to substitute moral guilt for a reason more celestial, contributes to the erosion of innate human conscience. This has always been part of the control for mass manipulation, where the excuses for abject cruelty are defended on grounds of approval from an unprovable, “higher” source.
Whenever the West endorses something with zeal, tread carefully. It’s usually bling dressing for a wound that they inflicted.
Remember the wound in the Exodus 21:20-21 “When a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged. But if the slave survives a day or two, he is not to be avenged, for the slave is his money.”
The bling dressing in Galatians 3:28 – “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Under the banner of “Christian” we are all the same, even though the life of a slave is clearly defined to be worth less.
Learn to THINK, really understand what thinking entails so that you don’t get suckered in by the latest hooha and once again, mistaken the devil for the divine!
