America has ALWAYS done things through force, yet insists this does not engender its status as a “proper man”. The best comedians are in Washington.
Today I want to dismantle the abysmal media disquisition that paints China’s youths as being shielded from the “truth” of the Tiananmen INCIDENT. Once again, this Anglo Western trope ranks high on the bullshit meter, with the claim not being able to be evinced with anything tangible.
I have seen a video of a Western “journalist” going on the streets of China and asking young Chinese people whether they know about the June 4th incident and true to cherry picking form, you see the youths shirking away, claiming that they know nothing. The ones who did know something were most definitely not featured so that Western media could continue its persecution of China’s censorship. The level of critical thinking that is concomitant with the West is on par with something that one can pinch out every morning….
Could it be that MOST PEOPLE aren’t aware of things political in general? I used to write a fair bit on Quora, and the responses I got made my head spin. I had one FULL GROWN man tell me that he “wasn’t born” when swine flu came along….. H1N1 happened in 2009! Looking at the face of a 30+ year old in the profile picture made me shake my head at the sheer inanity of his reply. Yet this level of stupidity in the West is NEVER labelled as a government conspiracy to HIDE America’s FAULT IN THE PANDEMIC (I’m going by the same blame game of the FIRST COUNTRY to recognise the virus as the one that should bear the fault, like what the West is doing to China for Covid-19) yet a handful of Chinese youths not knowing about the WESTERN VERSION of June 4th, is?

What we need to do is understand the demented mind of Washington and what purpose China served at that time to understand June 4 in the context of HISTORY.
Remember, when Nixon and Mao met in 1972, we were still in cold war turf. China’s role at that time for Washington, was a geopolitical pawn against the Soviet Union. As the USSR was getting pummelled, China’s communism had to be dismantled too, this way all the big players would be opened up for American corporations to enter willy-nilly for plunder.
Nearing 1989, Winston Lord (Kissinger’s assistant) and later James Lilley of the CIA with the likes of Gene Sharp (known as the Machiavelli of non violence) looked into how to prompt China’s kids into a revolt against their government, and they found it via staging demonstrations under the guise of CPC “approved” protests such as those levelled against Japan.
“The student demonstrations at Tiananmen Square in 1989 were not the first time in the 1980s that Chinese authorities were faced with organized demonstrations expressing dissatisfaction with their rule. In late 1985, and again in late 1986, Beijing and Shanghai were the site of student protests. Students carried banners with slogans such as “Law, Not Authoritarianism” and “Long Live Democracy.”
In China, a state with significant curbs on free expression, demonstrators have often seized upon politically tolerable causes–such as anti-Japanese sentiment or the commemoration of a popular Chinese leader–as vehicles to gather together and express their dissatisfaction with the policies of the Chinese government.” Tiananmen Declassified
The main way to destabilise China was to topple the CPC leaders and transform their economy through Milton Friedman’s SHOCK DOCTRINE, the exact same script that turned Chile and USSR into a free for all for corporate America. Washington convinced the big players in Beijing like General Secretary Zhao Ziyang to promote rapid market reform via the evil International Monetary Fund (IMF).
But because China was still wearing a potato sack and eating shrapnel at that time, it wasn’t seen to be real a threat. The moniker of authoritarian government and civilian tank roller was established however, along with the Tibetan and Uyghur narrative, ready to be exploited at will by Washington.
Around 2005, is when we first see Washington lift an eyebrow and begin the sabotage games on China with exigency. Why? Essentially China was still on track with the “free market” model, but because China was a burgeoning economy that had real needs, it started to actively cultivate a strategic foreign policy. China began to develop its own oil importing route and that was a no no for America. China was supposed to be a povo stricken nation for life, a place where the privileged Yanks would go and pine “… even after all our aid, snot and tuberculosis is still on the menu… dirty bastards. Can I adopt a Chinese baby for my latest good Samaritan accessory?”.
China in short, wasn’t supposed to get better.

Here’s my “prophecy” for the future, except it ain’t prophetic because AMERICA HAS ALREADY ANNOUNCED its geopolitical weakness, hence it does not take a savvy political soothsayer to see what will happen to India, if like China it decides to stop America from bankrupting the Indian economy!
Sir Halford Mackinder (foreign policy adviser to Obama) said way back in 1997:
“The world’s most populous aspirants to regional hegemony, China and India, are in Eurasia, as are all the potential political or economical challengers to American primacy……. Eurasia accounts for 75 percent of the world’s population; 60 percent of its GNP, and 75 percent of its energy resources. Collectively, Eurasia’s potential power overshadows even America’s.”
Does it really take a political genius to predict what America will do to these rising powers who confront it?
Did a “massacre” happen on June 4th, 1989?

So far, we can see that Chinese students were brainwashed into an American induced rebellion against their government which proved STUPID in hindsight. All the quibbles about a failing CPC, corrupt unsustainable China economic growth are ALL PROVEN WRONG through time. The CPC was RIGHT, it just needed time to show the efficacy of their strategy.
To all the MORONS who touted China’s demise…..this is China’s 2019 GDP.

But do Chinese millennials know about Tiananmen?
Yes they DO! But China does not call it “Tiananmen Square Massacre” in the SAME WAY AUSTRALIA won’t call its 200 year genocidal campaign against Aboriginals “genocide”, or America’s treatment of African Americans as “Systemic Racism”. Why? Firstly the POINT OF VIEW IS DIFFERENT, and secondly Anglo Western propaganda has run its course. Literally there HAS NEVER BEEN a solitary incident where America has cried foul play, that has ever evinced wrong doing on the part of the accused.
Gulf of Tonkin? False.
Weapons of mass destruction? False.

The Chinese government does acknowledge the Tiananmen protest but calls the incident the 1989 “political disturbance” (zhengzhi fengbo), and you know what? It has every bloody right to! In Australia, we don’t even talk about the Black Wars as in NEVER, so quit the double standard in calling out government semantic quicksilvery and amnesia just because China did it.

Li, who now lives in Beijing, told PolOff that with the 20th anniversary quickly approaching, June 4 had become a frequent discussion topic among her friends, most of whom are well educated but apolitical Chinese in their 20s working in the public relations and fashion industries.“
